"World of Faith"

Yesterday was really cool, when I was at "The Point" with Jacinta and Janice, them helping me understand this verse I found in the bible, 2Co 5:7 "We live by faith, not by sight". Jacinta and Janice helped me a lot. Finding out what it meant and explaining to me of things bit by bit to understand fully. I read 2 BIG paragraphs called "Our Heavenly Dwelling" which is from 2Co 5:1 - 5:10.

2 Corinthians 5

Our Heavenly Dwelling

1Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, 3because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 4For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
6Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7We live by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

This is what I think I know so far... since we, as humans, are temporarily in this world of the bodies we have now... soon... our home will be up in heaven with God when we die. So... I think that we want to get to heaven but we can't because we are down here on eath and we will be up there in heaven with God when we die.

I'm not sure... because I seem to have a short term memory plus I didn't really write things down in my notebook. So people if you have any comments that you can sort of remind me of what some parts of it I didn't really cover in this entry... ok... yeah... sorry Janice! I understood it at the time at "the point" but I can't seem to remember all of it...
